WRITING SKILLS

Hello!!

As you know in the Selectividad Exam you are asked to write a composition. Find HERE some clear instructions about this section of the exam.


DIFFERENT TYPES OF WRITING:

A) DESCRIBING A PERSON (STARTER UNIT)

IMPROVING YOUR LISTENING SKILLS

Hi,

It's sometimes difficult to improve your listening skills. Here are some activities which might help you.

1) Some exercises to practise with phonetics


2) Listen to the different English sounds in the phonemic chart


3) Good listening activities from the BBC at different levels. You can download the script.

4) 6 minutes PODCASTS by the BBC. You can also download the scripts.

5) Find here a collection of PODCASTS at intermediate level.


6) Loads of listening activities at different level. They are in American English.

SELECTIVIDAD EXAMS

Hello!

These are the two "Selectivad" exams (Option A and Option B) you should do next.
Don't forget that you have to do the "Comprehension" section  and the "Use of English" section of BOTH options, and choose only ONE composition of the two options to write.

Becas para la participación en un programa intensivo de inmersión lingüística en inglés en España


Podrán participar todos aquellos/as alumnos/as que cumplan los siguientes requisitos:

          -Haber nacido entre el 1 de enero de 1996 y el 31 de diciembre de 1999.
       -Tener la condición de becario en el curso 2015/16 de la convocatoria general de becas de este Ministerio conforme a la Resolución de 30 de julio de 2015 de la Secretaría de Estado de Educación, Formación Profesional y Universidades por la que se convocan becas para estudiantes que cursen estudios post-obligatorios.
         -Estar matriculado en el curso 2015/16 en:
        Bachillerato.
      Enseñanzas profesionales de música y danza.
      Grado medio de Formación Profesional.
    Grado medio de artes plásticas y diseño.
        Grado medio de enseñanzas deportivas.
      Enseñanzas de idiomas de nivel intermedio o avanzado.
       -Tener aprobado totalmente el curso inmediatamente anterior y haber obtenido en dicho curso una nota final mínima de 7,50 puntos en la asignatura de inglés.
         Tendrán preferencia los solicitantes que hayan obtenido una puntuación superior.
